About Me

Today in Tango: I am an American tango teacher who lives in Rome...I am originally from Austin, Texas where for many years I was a businessman and entrepreneur. In 1997 I did a crazy thing; I followed my dream and moved to Florence, Italy which had been my dream...it has been a fantastic life! I now live in Rome where I teach tango using Zen concepts...it is my passion and I try to do it with an "American" approach...with professionalism... I love italy because the history, the art, the food, the wine, the coffee are the best. There is a magic here that exists no other place. I have a degree in Philosophy and have owned a number of small businesses and have been a business consultant. I once had a radio show and a television show. I am very curious about the world and read alot especially on the internet. I am a video producer as well and a fanatic about physical fitness. I think that the internet is the greatest human invention of all time. I have two grown sons in Austin, Aaron and Alexis and my little beautiful daughter Rebecca in Milano. The inspiration of my life is my beautiful, sensitive, magnificent wife Maria Teresa Ruocco.We love talking to people..so come visit!!!!!
